Firestik Firefly 3 ft CB antenna with spring base

Firestik Firefly 3 ft CB antenna with spring base. Condition is used. It is marked up a little from trail use but I had no problem setting a low SWR with this antenna. Includes Firestik medium spring base as pictured.

Item location is the East San Francisco Bay, CA. Prefer local pickup Price $10 plus shipping.

Curious as to where you had this mounted and how much was exposed above roofline?

Had it mounted on the Teraflex hinge with CB antenna bracket. It stuck up above the roof line a little. Don't remember now much anymore. but it wasn't much.

You get 18" of exposure above the hard top roofline.

Appreciate the responses.

I did order this antenna and am using it with a PoisonSpyder tailgate mount with a hardtop on the Jeep. The stickup above roof line as menstioned is about 18”. I did find that I needed to run a ground wire from the antenna base through the tailgate and attached to the floor of the Jeep to provide a strong and large horizontal ground plane. This allowed me to dial in an SWR of just over 1.2 from CH1-40.

Little bit of extra work but nice to be able to get in/out of the garage with trout having to remove the antenna.

Should mention that I do have it on Firestik’s quick disconnect.
