2008 KTM SuperDuke 990 with 6650miles (still riding so it will have a few more when sold)
I bought this bike less than 2 years ago from Starr Cycle in Mankato, MN. I test rode many bikes but this took the cake by a long shot. I had to have it.
Since then I have done just about every aftermarket option available. See the list below.
I donít know how to wheelie and my wife rode with me 90% of the time, therefore I couldnít use it like I really wanted or abuse it.
I have done all the required maintenance myself because I donít trust anyone else to mess with my motorcycles. I always use the recommended Motorex fluids. I have a couple of extra oil filters that will go with the bike also.
FMF Titanium can/Carbon ends, slip on pipes
CRG adjustable shorty levers x2
Motohooligan Airbox with Pre filter
Motohooligan SAS block off plates and resistor
Motohooligan adjustable tank mounts
PC3 with custom tune - $500ish (Im working on getting the dyno graph from my tuner.)
O2 sensor deletes x2
KTM Low temp thermostat sensor
KTM orange swing arm bolt covers
KTM Ergo gel seat also have OEM seat
40tooth orange KTM sprocket in the rear also have OEM
Fender eliminator kit (took a lot of time to complete, work is already done for you)
Motovation Frame sliders Upper
Motovation Frame sliders Lower (these were similar price to the uppers but appear to no longer be availableÖ)
Motovation Fork Sliders
Motovation Rear axle sliders
GB Racing Engine covers
Annatori HM Quick Shifter
Cycra Hand Guards with both white and black plastics
Cox Racing radiator guard in orange
KTM adjustable mirrors x2
Trickle charger already installed - $30
KTM reservoir sweatbands
Carbon Fiber Front fender also have OEM
KTM touring windshield also have OEM
Set of black bar end weights for if you take the hand guards off
Deer whistles on the side of the headlight, not noticeable.
The bike will come with a full white set of KTM plastics as well as a full black set.
As you can see Iím a sticker/decal junkie, must be my redneck sideÖ All of them are able to be removed without damage to the bike.
I also have the Bursig paddock stand with the wheel kit. This stand was around $700 and is the best thing I bought for my bike. It allows me to roll it tight into a corner of the garage for storage with both wheels off the ground.
If you know KTM and the Superduke you know this is damn near the perfect package deal at a very fair price.
Retail on the bike with no aftermarket parts is $9500. Which means you could get a loan for that amount also.
There are easily a few thousand dollars in good taste extras included in this deal.
I am happy to keep this bike although with the purchase of a new Cobalt 200 I wonít have as much time to ride it and itís a shame to waste such an amazing bikeÖ
$8,450 for the whole package (add $400 for the Scotts Steering stabilizer)
I will consider partial trades for a kids dirt bike (85cc or less), I prefer KTM but will listen to anything. Always willing to wheel and deal, just call and we can talk. I promised to sell the SD in exchange for a new boat so it will have to go no matter what in the long run.
