I have one of these I used in my 4 door JK for a while. I've since sold the JK. The box retails for $679. It's in good shape and comes with two keys. It's very big and I would rather not ship. I could palatalize and deliver to a fastenal for shipping if absolutely neccesary.
Here's a link. I can't find the thing on the tuffy site. Maybe they quit making them? I used it for a couple years and it worked great. I know the part number and that northridge4x4 has them on their site. Since I only have one post, the forum won't let me post links or pictures. Sorry for the hassle. Let me know if it works for you.
I can chime in here since I own one. I think they only made it for the 4 door.
I don't think tuffy is making it anymore. I bought mine a few years ago and don't know how I lived without it before.
I have a Rubbermaid action packer in it for fluids, 2 big tool bags, 1st aid bag, spare hydraulic hoses for my ram, spare unit bearing, 25 foot air hose for airing back up, small ammo can for quick disconnects, aev jack base and tow strap and there is just a little room left. But it holds everything that I need to be prepared for wheeling plus it is lockable. The slides are heavy duty and holds the drawer firmly when it is open. The downfall is you are limited on the amount of stuff you can put on the inside of the tailgate. I have the smittybilt bags mounted there and they are full of stuff and the tailgate does close.
Seller do you have all the side panels as well that goes with it?
Here is a pic of it installed, not mine buy you get the idea. It will fit with the subwoofer as well.
Thanks for the help. Sorry for the delay. I had to put my hands on it. There are no side panels. Just the drawer and the keys. I agree this drawer is a game changer. It's a shame that they are no longer making them. They are a must have for a jk!
Thanks for the update everyone. Northridge fit a 15JKU. IIRC they made these for JKU models thru 2010 then something changed? I don't remember what tuffy had told me. I ran into this when another went up for sale on this site last summer.
I'm in process of making some changes and will be deleting the tire carrier and putting spare in back. Would the box be strong enough to support a 38-40" tire on top of it and not collapse? I've been looking at some other options out there but if this would work.....
