Jeep JK 2 Dr LabRak Roof Rack

I have a Jeep JK 2 Dr LabRak Roof Rack that I acquired in an auction. This rack is still brand new in the box and ready to go. It utilizes 4 gutter mounts and is a modular system. You can mount any type of accessories to this rack such as your Hi-Lift, shovel, LED light bar, roof top tent, jerry cans for water or gas and even your awning. It is truly an awesome system.

I unfortunately do not have a Jeep (Toyota guy here) so I do not have a use for this, unfortunately. Retail on this thing is $1,295. It's brand new in the box and I haven't even opened it yet! I can assemble the rack for interested buyers and will even help you install it. Asking $900

More info here http://shop.labrak.com/Jeep-Wrangler...Door-LR-JK.htm
Check out the number of accessories you can add to this thing http://shop.labrak.com/Rack-Accessories_c4.htm

I am interested in trades for off road items. Let me know what you have. Interested in 315/75/16 MTs at the moment.

BTW I know that the link and pics I posted up are from a JK 4 dr, but this rack is just a bit shorter to accommodate the 2dr JK.

I'm assuming from the pictures that this only works with hard tops?

Yes. You are correct, only for hard tops.

Verify this is for a 2dr JK, as the site does not list any product for the 2dr, only the 4dr. Would you happen to know the weight capacity for this rack, it's also not mentioned on the site. thank you.

You are correct that this site does not list a 2dr version. I can confirm this, as this is a one-off version of the rack. I talked to Shane at LabRak and this is a shorter version of the Jeep JK 4DR version he sells.

As for weight capacity, this rack is made to handle a roof top tent plus all of your gas jerry cans, shovels, and also a hi lift. Just a quick calculation below:

RTT + 2 adults - 500lbs
3 gas/water jerry cans - 105lbs
Hilift - 50 lbs
shovel and other accessories - 25 lbs

At a little under 700 lbs (safe calculations) I believe this rack could handle basically anything you throw at it....unless you plan on mounting a machine gun on top. The gutter mounts may be the weak point there

Would it easier if I posted up a picture of this thing assembled? How about installed on a Jeep 2dr? I'd need a volunteer to mount it to their truck if anybody is available in the Houston area. I guarantee you this thing is stout and a well-built rack.

Just to throw some more pictures in here, here is a LabRak on a Land Cruiser with the awning, lightbar, shovel, hilift and 35" tire mounted up top along with the Rigid Duallys mounted back

Let me know if there is a volunteer in the Houston area to mount this thing up to. I'm reluctant to do so because it's all packaged up nicely in it's box, but if it can accelerate the sale, I'm all for it.
