SUBMISSION THREAT IS CLOSED!

Hello fellow JKO members! It's that time again to start submitting your rides for the April JKO 3-Class Rides of the Month!

This entry/submission thread will run through 8pm on 7 April and then will start member voting from 8-13 April.....voting will end with the last post JKO timestamped on/about midnight of 13 April. Post up your Jeep pictures and DETAILS of the Jeep modifications on THIS thread so that I will have all the information for the voting threads to come!

So here are the guidelines/rules:

1. Heavily Modified class includes: 37s or larger, axle overhauls (including possible regearing) to support said tires, coilover suspension or 3/4-links, HEMIs, roll-cages, bumpers, winches, body cutting, etc.

VENDOR SUPPORT:
a. Rock Krawler - $100 gift certificate

2. Average modified class includes: 35s and smaller, possible regearing, bumpers, winches...the usual modifications that most daily driver offroaders put together.

VENDOR SUPPORT:

b.

**NOTE: Once the submission thread is closed on 7 April, there will be no late additions.

Average Build Class

I am on 37's but I still consider myself "Average" build class. Working toward Heavily modified.

-Rock Krawler 2.5 stock mod
-Bilsten 5100's
-Maxis 37's
-Pro Comp wheels
-Airaid Intake
-Muffler Delete
-55 watt DDM HIDs (Headlights & Fogs)
-Cut fenders & bumpers

Not sure what else I'm forgetting. I have had the Jeep since early August and it only has 5k on it. Keeping it pampered until I have time to start really playing in it!

I have to agree.....I don't think 37's should automatically classify a rig as being "Heavily Modified." There are plenty of average build rigs that have far more than me. Heavily modified seems like it should include things like coilovers, built axles, comp cuts, Hemi swaps, etc. Just having 37's really doesn't make a rig "heavily modified," especialy since it really doesn't take that much to make them fit.

Choose your friends & choose your enemies. But choose wisely.

But wouldn't you want to put it up against heavily modified for a chance to win $100 from RK rather than $25. You might get more votes for "needing" mods. But... I'd be ok with having you in the average build. Don't make it a grudge match.

Good point. Whichever one gives me a better chance to win is okay with me.
