I vote for a medium sized wild cat of some sort.

Either that or a wookie.

check the tracks. If you can make an x through the track without hitting the pads it's canine. can't make an x it's feline.

I support the military, fiscal responsibility, Hemp, legalization of Marijuana over 21, smaller government and the Bill of Rights.

I'll add my guess as a fox. I enlarged the pic a bit and played with some levels and inversion and everytime the face keeps looking triangular.

I live in north (panhandle) of Texas. Foxs here are smaller and yotas are more red. The black socks are throwing me off, but looks like it has a snout too? Not as snub as a cat. Hard to tell tho. I'll go with chupacabra........ Unable to see tracks due to deer traffic.

There is nothing around to give perspective on the size. Most red fox have black or darker lower legs. The color is hard to pic up since it is grayscale. The snout and possible tongue hanging out with dark lower legs says fox to me.

Comparing it to the weeds (which I'm guessing aren't very tall), it's a relatively short animal. With the dark/black markings on the legs, I'm going with fox.
