Build a Teardrop. Fairly simple to build and relatively cheap. Built to your specs so nothing you don't want. Easy to tow. Best of all, no set up. You get where you're going and crawl in and sleep.

I have a build thread on here of mine.

Anyone have one of these?

we have been tenters forever, but figure this would be quicker set up / tear down, and is all we'd really need.

tent camper

Look for a mid-60's appache tent camper. They are kinda cool, retro and probably not to expensive. I saw one a few days ago on Craigs list for like 550.

Coleman Colorado. Or Coleman aspen, same thing. Dry weight is like 585 lbs, sleeps two. Simple construction, easy setup. You can find em for around $500 if you look long enough. Craigslist or "allofcraigs"
