Spent the 4th Camping

One of the best 4th's I can remember. Drove though the middle of nowhere in complete solitude and freedom and then headed back down to the lake and caught a few fish.

A few pics (click on them for larger images).

Camp and a view of the lake.

Lots of open meadows and deer. I even saw one of the healthiest looking coyotes I've ever seen. He had a real nice coat of fur I assume still thick from the winter. He was to quick for the camera though.

Some pics of the roads. They did get a little worse in some areas but were in pretty good shape all in all.

very nice!!!

In 2009 a crack commando wheelin' unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the South Florida underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as wheelers of fortune. If you have a problem. If no one else can help. And if you can find them. Maybe you can wheel with The 50/50 Off-Road Team.

I miss camping. That looks like a beautiful area. So much better in a Jeep.
