Rock Krawler JK Long Arm Aluminum Link Upgrade

Original Story and Photos by Gil "usmcdoc" Fortin

Yes there are many ways for you to trim the weight from your body to look better, perform better and be sexy. Well what about your JK?

My 4 door is a hefty girl, yea she can claim genetics on most of it but she is a little too tubby for her own good. I have no desire to be pushin’ that much cushion should the need arise. So she went on a diet, at first it was getting rid of the sweets, ditching carpet and useless trim. It was easy and she stuck with it right about till the moment I had to buy her shiny things to keep her happy.

Bumpers, suspension, tires, double beadlocks all add up quick and pretty soon her farm girl figure was reaching heifer status.

The time came for the knife, no simple dieting would do any more.

Sorry if this was posted elsewhere, but how much fat did you trim in total? Seats, links, bumpers, etc?

How much weight did you lose after everything has been completed? Either I missed it during the read or you didn't say.

Losing weight (for women) is always good.

Looks like a KMA Fabrication light bar with the race style mirrors added.

Either way it is a pretty sick setup!
