Jeep Swag Fender Clips

Has anyone else ordered these? I bought a set since I keep destroying the factory clips, and due to some minor body damage that prevents the flat style factory clips from being able to make contact with the mounting holes. I dont know if its because its still freezing around here, but it seems the clips are too big for the holes? Am I missing something? I dont really want to have to drill out for these, so I'm hoping its just too cold to install, but some insight would be great!

have looked at them myself actually. curious to see what you find out here. I have bolts holding in a few locations and I do not like that. I want the flare to rip off before the fender. LOL

I've never installed them in the cold, but I can see it being more difficult. They are hard to press in, even when warm out. I have even taken a small hammer to get them all the way in.
