Power Steering Pump Upgrade

Apart from PSC Power steering Pump what other options are available. The stock mopar PS pumps are getting expensive with core charges.

Has any one tried the new PSC PS Pumps. The old ones used to whine like a raped monkey.....

Please do tell. Was that stock mopar PS pump or PSC pump rebuild. I thought stock pumps are not rebuildable?

Do you have part #s from PSC?

This is a stock Delphi, and its not a "kit" with a dedicated PN.

You have to call the manufacturing number for PSC, not the sales/tech line. I believe there are two #s on the page- the one on the right I believe. Just tell them what parts you want and they will package it up for you. I just got seals, since my sector shaft was fine.

You can do it in the Jeep, but you might as well pull it out and tap it for Goody's DIY RAM SETUP elsewhere on this forum.

Soon to be a vendor!!!

Ringer used an adjustable pump in his JK; from Summit, I think. Perhaps that may be a viable upgrade for a reasonable price.

Do you have any more details?
I used PSC Hydro ram assist before with 5 PSC ps pumps but didnt like the setup and went back to stock.

I am running LS3 with auto not 3.8 manual any more. We tried custom fab the chevy truck pump but unfortunately the pump is very large in size and using motech acc kit its not worth spending too much.

Therefore i am looking at better ps pump than stock pump.

I have also looked at http://www.krcpower.com/
