This was posted several months back as well. Problem is it's just a model of the exterior of the JKU. It's not mechanically accurate for creating parts unfortunately (there's no frame for example)

Sorry man should have been more specific; a JK or JKU drawing file that someone could work and model off of.

I have the 3d models seen in this thread: https://www.jkowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=64098

Everything is 100% scale so you can design and build to it

Re: CAD Drawings of JKU - Happy Saturday !

Does anyone have any hosting I can use that isn't going to remove the files after 30days?

DropBox is your friend: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/84843025/Je...0unlimited.3DS

Would you be able to shed any light on where these files came from?
I used the model extensively when designing the roof rack in this thread. (I joined the discussion about 1/2 way down the 3rd page)
It was an incredibly useful resource in many ways but absolutely infuriating in others.

In particular I would love to be able to made a 3D printable version of this model but no idea how to do it, and that's not through lack of trying

I know, I know ... I'm reviving an old thread. The Dropbox link above is no longer accessible (As dl.dropbox.com is no longer used, apparently). If you still have the file hosted in Dropbox, can you post the updated link?
