Reverse rotation?

Was looking at new gears for my Jeep and spotted that the same ring and pinion for the JK Rubicon etc are offered as a reverse rotation....

I am guessing this would be for the front as it is a high pinion?? They were not advertised as front or rear on the web site

Correct me if I am wrong please

Reverse rotation is the single most misused axle term. Reverse Rotation is a slang term used to describe a reverse spiral cut housing. Neither the axle nor the axle shafts travel in a reverse motion, or travel 'backwards' compared to a regular housing.
But yes, that would indicate a front high pinion reverse spiral cut gearset.
