affect on pinion angle when adjusting rear upper arm length.

I did the math, then tested this out on my 2009 JKU with Teraflex rear adjustable upper control arms. Hopefully this will save someone from guessing how much to adjust the control arm length to get the desired pinion shaft angle change.


Each complete rotation of the 18 TPI teraflex "medium" spherical rod end relative to the fixed end results in a pinion angle change of about .35 degrees.

Example: You want to tilt the pinion flange up 1 degree to better match your new aftermarket driveshaft. 3 complete turns longer will tilt the pinion flange up 1.05 degrees from where you started.
