Exclamation What gear ratio for a 2012 on 37's?

What gear ratio for a 2012 on 37's?
What gear ratio is recommended for a 2012 unlimited Rubicon on 37's? I have read that it is not the same as the previous years.

there's a chart in a few threads... a search for "2012 gear chart" found me this one: https://www.jkowners.com/forum/showpo...9&postcount=12

basically, 4.10s will be live-able depending on the weight of the tires and extras on the rig, but 4.56 would be a better bet if you're regearing from 3.21 (not in a Rubicon, of course) or 3.73.

I'm running 5.13s with 37s on a 2 door and love it. Mines a 6 speed its almost to low of gears though because I'm turning around 2500 rpms at 60mph. I'm planning on going to 38s-40 in the future though so it will work out good.

Black Lady, you've got 5.13's on a 2012 2dr?

If auto, you'll probably want 4:88's.

I have an auto '12 on 35s with 4.88s. For a DD, I'd say 4.88 is slightly too low for 35s. However, 37s were in the plans from the start and will be on within another month or so and I think it'll be perfect.

4.88s if you drive on the interstate for long amounts of time and 5.13 if you don't.

Yes I do! Sorry I haven't updated anything in my profile. I have a 2012 2 door 6 speed with 5.13s and 37in toyos.
