Looking at new shocks for my ride...4" lift
Note to those out there.....$35.00 shocks are worth less then $35.00 in gas...Zone offroad shocks lasted a year before failing and bleeding out fluid.
Anyway, back to the point

OME sport shocks
Rancho RS5000
Skyjacker Nitro
post up what you guys think...price is a factor but I dont want junk.

I'd look into the Fox IPF shocks. Put them on mine with a Teraflex 4" lift and they are much better then the Teraflex shock were. Ride is night and day now.

I don't like none of your choices , maybe the bilstiens right now I have the procomps mx6 adj. and I love them but I am looking into getting the fox 2.0 adj and be done with shocks for awhile

I vote fox but its not up their so bacon it is. But the fox with the adj and the res are great. Plus they are rebuildable

5100s or Fox 2.0s. Just swapped from 5100 to 2.0s tonight and i would be happy with either.

I'd do Fox's. If you do go C/D Adj Fox's remember to have the rebound valving changed before you install them. The 90 rebound is way way way too slow and really takes away from the shocks potential. We've been running specials on them here if you're interested in them. If not, run the Bilsteins.

In regards to those mentioning the Fox 2.0 shocks, what I sell the most of along those lines are the BDS tuned Fox 2.0 shocks. I know several people on JKO running them on my recommendation and they had never heard of them. They thanked me profusely for the recommendation after I sold them and they had a chance to try them though!

What lengths, compressed and extended do the new RS7000MT come in. Are they digressive like the Bilsteins.

The Bilstein is the only quality shock out of those listed. I run the 5100s on my son's TJ and they have been good.

Bilstein or OME are the only good ones on your list. The others are junk (based on my TJ experience with both). I ran Teraflex shocks for a year and a half on my JK and really liked the price and performance.

Sorry so long on a response, out at KOH. We make these for 0-2" and 4", and yes they a digressive style shock. Great handling on road and eat up the dirt roads.

Thanks - but what lengths are they. The RS9000 4" shocks are similar in length to RK 2.5" shocks, hence my question.

Poly Performance/Synergy Suspension shocks are supposed to be equal to the Fox shocks and lower price. Search for the thread about them, probably in their Vendor section.

i run old man emu and im happy with them. our 4 door is on fox shocks and i still like the ome ones better.

(Thanks to Marcus) I just threw on a set of Bilstein 5100's last night. Definitely a softer ride than the stock Rubi shocks they replaced.
