2011 RIPP Supercharged JK Making Power on the Dyno VID

We resently did another install on a 2011 JK and tested it on our dyno to make sure its in line with all the others...

Right on target...

Stock this JK produces 118 rear wheel HP (WHP) and 155 rear wheel Trq... With the supercharger freshly installed it produced 202WHP and 230ft/lbs or trq... Its much easier to drive now.

RIPP claims that changing gears doesn't change the HP numbers... I would suspect that differant gears would change the tourqe numbers though.

Wow! Those 2011's have a huge power variation. I was looking at a Ripp video on youtube where the 2011 w/ 4.10's and 35" tires had 135 rwhp.
Guessing there is a difference in correction factors or dyno machines or something.

There is a big differences in chassis dynos. There are multiple types of dyno and multiple ways to set them up. We have one at work and I was surprised to learn that there isn't a standard calibration for chassis dynos...there are numbers that most go, but no industry standard. There are correction factors that can be moved and that really affect the final numbers.
