Rancho 9000xl shocks WITH Remote??? Anyone???

I've searched and googled for any glowing reviews of this adjustable shock and remote adjustable control system, but can't find any consistently positive input. People like the adjustable shocks, and love the idea of "on the fly" control.

But it seems that the system leaks and ends up being a head ache at some point.

Has this been your impression of the remote OTF system?

And any other comment on the shocks is also appreciated.

Thanks!

I picked up a set of these without the controller. I really like the shocks. as far as adjusting them, I will get out if need be and turn the adjuster just so I dont need to worry about all the tubing and crap.

My buddy has had these for 2 years.. I noticed he has to keep repairing the airlines and he tore one off on the last trip.. I'm guessing they are not really worth the pain in the ass really...

I had it on my F250 and absolutely hated it. Biggest waste of money ever. When I tried to do an adjustment, nothing ever seemed to happen. Found out the adjustable portion of the shock had seized up on 3 of the shocks. Couldn't even get them to adjust when I reinstalled the knobs. Tossed em, and went with OEM replacements shocks and the truck rode great. Granted this was a F250HD with a 460 and a curb weight of 7300 lbs....
