Crash Bar Removed?

How many people have removed their crash bar? Not including those with the PSC BFH...

What are you referring to as the crash bar? Is it the lower bar the factory air dam attaches to?

Yes, the other purpose of this bar besides air dam mounting is to keep cars from going under the Jeep in a collision.

Its not much of a structure to be called a 'crash bar'! Cut it off imo.

If you still had doubts. I cut mine off many moons ago, rotated the swaybar disconnect, and installed a skid plate.

Thanks for all the feedback so far, definitely going to remove it, seems like just another thing to drag over the obstacles. Still trying to decide on a bumper...

Ok, question. I have the RR XHD and the bottom is angled and sits flush with the bar, doesn't mount to it. My question is, does the RR skid plat mount to it? Anyone with the RR skid to chime in. From the pics it just looks like i envelop's it, not really attached to it.
