Spacers w/4.5 Backspace Opinions.

Came across a good deal on a set of beadlocks, issue is 5x5.5 bolt pattern. Running a 4.5 backspace currently w/37's & have rubbing at full lock on frame so could use some addl clearance. Figure w/an upgrade in axles down the road, Id already have the wheels covered. Problem is adaptors run about 1 1/4 wide, the beadlocks are 4.5 backpsacing and would put the total backspace less then 3.5. Ive seen guys running as little as 3.75, but not less. As of now Im passing, as it seems like a problem w/excessive wear w/37's, but figured Id get some other opinions.

I ran 4.75" BS rims with 1.5" spacers (3.25" total BS) for the best part of three years (75k miles) with no issues at all.
