New Hurst shifter

Ok, so I was board and had an old Hurst 3spd shifter off a truck I am rebulding. Anyway after a few beers, j-sack and I decided we wanted to tap the end of our shifters so we change our shift knobs. Well I decided to take it a step farther.

So I cut off the old shifter off the mounting bushing.

I then cleaned up the cuts for welding.

j-sack's shifter to thr right.

I know I need to clean my Jeep.

C'mon, a chrome Hurst shifter!?!?!? Thats gotta be worth at least 20HP! Now if he had Hurst decal on both sides of his Jeep that's good for another 5HP.

Looks pretty sweet, very "old school".
