Angry 33's or 35's?

New to the site...

Just ordered a 4 in Rough Country Suspension for my JK. Don't know whether or not i should put 33's or 35's under it. Not gonna be doing any serious wheeling. But It's definately my commuter, so i don't want to lose serious MPG. How big of a differance is it? Because i get sh*tty MPG as it is with the pizza cutter 29's on it already...
i want the 35's cuz i think they'll look great.
Just dont wanna spend 2 g's on wheels and tires, then kick my self in the A$$ at the gas pump for 3 years....Any input would be appreciated, because im going to purchase any day now...

With a 4 in lift, I'm guessing you have a 4 door. If that is the case, I'd go with the 35s. I bought my 33s from a guy with a 4 door who replaced em with 35s. Really balances it out on an unlimited if you ask me.

what gears do you have? When I had 35's with 4.10 gears and auto transmission I was getting around 11-12 mpg city, around 15 hwy.

2dr or 4dr? like has already been said with 4" of lift on a 4 door a 35 will fit best the 33 will look too small.

I've got an 08 Unlimited with the auto transmission and 4.10 gears. I'm getting about 15-16mpg in the city with my 35s. I run around with overdrive on 100% of the time because going up the hills around here with 35s and only 4.10s is kinda a stretch, but my mileage isn't too bad...

I think the unlimited with the 4" and 33s doesn't look nearly as good as with 35s.

Ok, you win! Gah, just had to one up me didn't ya?

Can you run 37's with a 4" and no fender trimming if you only do light wheeling? I'd think so but I'm not sure.

Probably, With all the trimming I have done on my jeep and 5.5 lift the 37's look small.

35's with 3.5 lift no trimming

35's with 5.5 lift and no flares

37's with 5.5 lift rear corner armor trimmed front flares

Smile

I guess im out numbered...
thanks for your guys' input...
It is a 2 door JK with the six speed.
But the 35's definately look better.
If the gas mileage gets too bad, i'll be that guy on the scooter drivin down the road. haha. jk. thanks guys.
I've got the silver one. think it would look good with the rockstar rims/and 35" Dune grapplers. I think they look pretty bad ass. and like i said. its my commuter. i can't afford to beat it up 4 wheelin.
