2008 JK Rubicon 4dr 6spd

Just bought it Sat., $23,250 after rebate, with hardtop and softtop. I will spend most of my offroad in sand and logging roads. I want to use the largest tires possible. Are 37's too big and heavy without modifying the axles. I know that I will need to regear to maybe 5.13s but don't want to get into the axles(trusses, gussets, chromalloy, etc.) What are your suggestions for tires and lift kits?

37's are fine, but if you are going to beef it up, use chromoly. 5.13's are the correct gearing for 37's.

Im running 5" skyjacker short arm for now. I also have 2" spacers in to clear 40's when my tires are done.
