Rampage Hood Locks Installed

Installed a set of these on my JK and love them. Look great ,very sturdy, and eliminates hood lift. Took a bit of adjustment to get them right but I realy am happy with them!

Thanks! And yes Awsome can only describe this color!! ! All kidding aside I have to add that I did have to use the factory rubber hood isolator from the old hood latch to keep from the paint to paint contact of the hood and fender. It slides off and I double side taped it in place as seen in this pic.

Do you have to lock these, or can you use them without locking?

They look great!

Just FYI for everyone, they are part number 76336. They came out after our last catalog printing, they'll be in the next one.

Very nice. If the Daystars that I just bought don't perform as expected, I'll be looking at getting a set of these.

2010 Rubion Unlimited, 17x8 Ultra Drifter wheels, Goodyear Duratrac 285/70R/17 tires, Ace Rock Rails, River Raider Evap Skid plate, Smilin Bob's Breather Extension Kit, Dirty Dog 4x4 Cargo/Pet Divider, IPF 920H4 JK Headlights, JK-RIGRIP front A-pillar grab handles, custom front grill screen, Daystar Upper Dash Panel

Can you show another pic of how you put the hood isolator on? Maybe one with the hood open. I just don't quite understand how you put it on. Thanks.

I like them too. I've been looking into something to cut down that hood bounce.

This is my first Jeep ever and when driving it to Houston last weekend it seemed like my hood was bouncing all over the place. I was wondering if that was normal since I have never owned a JK before? I guess it is. Would this minimize the bounce?
