I had a Daystar Hood Wrangler break - the top loop split open & the latch came out. I emailed Daystar Saturday. Sunday night I got an email saying they'd take care of it. Today a new set arrived, and not one but two Daystar shirts!

They are fantastic! I only had this problem once before I went out and picked up a set. A little harder to shut the latches now but worth not having your hood doing a crazy dance with a strong head wind.

love mine, had mine on 2+ years with no issues. No more hood flutter driving next to 18 wheelers anymore.

I hear great things about them always! And I work in customer service myself, for ford, and when I hear good things about customer service I tend to buy the product!

I just got a set about a month ago... why did it take me so long to get them... work perfect keeping the hood from going nuts.

+1 +1 +1 +1....what everybody said. They just work. You won't regret it. Best $25 I've spent on the JK.

If you don't believe they will work, run a zip tie around the stock hood strap and re-connect them. It'll prove to you that ANYTHING is better than stock and the Daystar product is worth every penny they want for them.

zip ties here as well, chuck...but i just can't break down to spend money on the daystars knowing that i've never heard of a latch failing and the hood flying open. although, watching the flutter is certainly a little unnerving!! lol

mine split open just like Jeep2.0. Hadn't been on there very long. I think heat is their enemy as we were at the colorado river. And on another note, having a manual tranny and their switch panel don't mix.

I'm not sure why the hood flutter bothers everybody...

I drove to Texas and back ( 3,000 miles ) and the hood fluttered the whole way.
Heading south from Houston to Corpus Christi there was a 30 mph headwind and I struggled to maintain 65mph and the hood went crazy, but the latches never failed. i kept thinking if the hood flew up that would give me a good excuse to justify the AEV hood, but it never happened.
