Fortec/Rugged Ridge Wheels

I just learned yesterday that Fortec and Rugged Ridge have the same Wheels. But the Fortec wheels come with 4.5 back space; Rugged Ridge wheels have 4.75. I spoke to Fortec and they told me that they designed the wheels for Rugged Ridge. I was thinking about buying the Rugged Ridge ones, but because of the back space, I will go with Fortec.

This is not a sales pitch and I do not work for Fortec, but Matt at Fortec was so helpful and courteous that I promised myself that I was going to mention them here. Matt also offered me a nice discount on all the parts I have in my shopping cart.

Would be interested in seeing the difference between the two. Kind of odd that Fortec would design wheels with different backspacing just for Quadratec. And why 4.75"?

They disigned them for Rugged Ridge.

They look axactly the same. Even the outer optional ring fits both of them.

Hello,

Quadratec doesn't own Rugged Ridge, we just retail their parts. Rugged Ridge is their own independent company. I'd be happy to sell anyone their branded parts! The wheels have a 1/4 inch difference in backspacing. Have a good day!
