Transfer case swap.

Im just curious, what all is involved in a transfer case swap when you put a Rubi T-case into an X? If I ever did it it would be quite a ways down the road, but I'm curious what I would be up against.

getting a t case from a rubi with the same type of transmission is all there is to it. straight swap....did it in a couple hours in the driveway with a buddy. I would highly recommend getting an offset stubby 14 mm open wrench for it though

I checked the write up area and didnt see anything, and you try searching Rubicon, transfer case, swap on here and see how much comes up

But it really is nice to know its just a direct swap, might have to look into it a little further.

I dont know what I did but the three threads I quoted from are all the same. Either way, searching through google can simplify things.
