nice mang.

I think the gussets are a good move.

The powdercoat on the rear shouldn't get banged up too much..... the skid though... its gonna get beat like the 2011 Astros.

well the skid was just an up in the air idea to tie the bumper for MORE support utilizing the EVO cantilever cage.. Four extra grade 8 bolts should do the do the trick..

After I bent that driver rear frame end, I think it was time for a bumper.

Is "Eat a dick" a valid suggestion???

That rig is just sick these days. When are you going to get it all finished?

BTW- Was this your idea?......cause I really can't think of who else has done this. It's very "Adam-ish".

f-ing beautiful welds too.

LIKE I said, suggestion are welcome! But I'll pass.. my answer to "finised", when is a jeep ever finished?.. Stupidface and i were talking on memorial day about this, I was originally going to use rectangle tubing, but the way the PSC bumper/depart angle is there is no way, my buddy was explaining that once you cut the box tubing, it will tend to bow/deform with the heat and would be too much excess work, so thats where the 3/16" angle iron came in, behind the angle iron are 1/8" plate that tie the angle iron and EVO system.

Since all three are welded together, the back plate total thickness is more than 1/4", I shit you not, in my sleep I dreamt that the rear coil overs were bowing the angle iron, so that's where the gussets came into play.

I feel very confident with the ideas Corey, my buddy Richard and i came up with. Ill pass along the complements to him.

the weld arint mine, they are my buddies, hes starting to teach me, i have a LONG way to catch up to his level.

he's been welding since age 11 and doing it for 25 yrs... You should see him with a gas axe, his cuts look like a plama cutter.. I SHIT YOU NOT!

He was telling me when he was starting that his dad didn't believe in saws, so angle iron, pipe, box, rectangle tubing, plating were all cut with gas axe. When he turned 26 he bought his first saw and his dad was ..

I just draw my cut lines in the metal, then Skype Chuck Norris and have him stare at them. There are no better, cleaner, more precise cuts. Or else!

From the looks of it..when your done with the rear bumper...you could do a similar commercial to the ford one. When they pick up the truck by one bolt...

Looks damn good.

Very nice! I know what I'll be doing to mine shortly - I've been trying to figure out what to do about the crossmember since I put my BFH on.
