In a recent trip to Rausch Creek playing on Snake Bite I got chewed up pretty good.
Not only did a I reshape a lower control arm I also did a pretty good number on the lower control arm brackets - malled them prtty good
After spending some time underneath reshaping the brakets to free the control arms for replacing I was surprised at how soft the brackets appear to be.
Has any one replaced or added additional protection to reduce the damage inflicted from this kind of inexperience??
I added the Poly brackets- they're fairly stout. Another solid option is the RK mounts- you cut off the stockers and weld on entirely new, beefy-ass mounts. Either way works- if I could weld, I'd have totally gone for the RK, but I weld like a blind man, so yeah... Poly it is Mark W.
