anyone else get a sort of moan from their jeep when they shift into reverse (auto tranny) i usually notice it when i back into my driveway and my front end is down the hill and the rear is up the hill. It doesnt exactly bother me, just want to know if anyone else gets it.

Have you checked the auto trans fluid? If it's low, and all draining to the front when pointed downhill, you could be running a bit low on line pressure. Otherwise, it's probably no biggie- just try to park flatter Mark W.

im going to check the fluid in the morning.... no real reason to be low, i only have 10,000 miles! haha

Mine started after I installed the tranny cooler. Topped up the fluid, same sound. Overfilled it, same sound. Changed fluid (no one had a filter/cartridge) so I left it in. Same sound. Took it to dealer (ya, I know) they said, "that's normal.

I haven't heard it lately.

Does it almost sound like brakes dragging? I get this once in a while and I park on flat ground. Let us know if you find anything.
My fluids are right on the dot.
