Question Front Drive Shaft Install - Newb Question

After tearing my front drive shaft boot, I didn't feel comfortable waiting for the shaft to go so I ordered me a JE Reel shaft (JER-31JK-24F) from PP. My question is am I going to be able to install this without issues or will I need adjustable control arms? I have read where some control arm adjustment is needed. Still have stock arms and I have the PP 3" lift where it's actually 4" up front from stock.

adjustable control arms only change your pinion angle. You should be able to swap driveshafts with no problems. If you get a new vibration after install, then you may need to adjust your pinion.

Thanks Dicky! I feel better hearing that now. Adding new control arms now will not fly with the wife right now so I'm hoping for an easy install.

should be a piece of cake. I broke my front driveshaft my first time out wheeling. Pulled it on the trail, and swapped in another stock one and it's been fine since. I'm running stock control arms too. Make sure you hang on to your old one for a trail spare if the only thing wrong with it is the ripped boot.

The DS is still functional and I'm a believer in having spare parts around just in case.
