For anybody looking for an LED light bar...

One of my dad's friends just picked up this light bar and it was pretty nice and really bright. I'm thinking about picking one up. What do you think?

Here's a youtube video showing them testing it out:

YouTube - ‪Alba Racing's Led light bar testing.‬‏

The only thing holding me back from picking it up is trying to figure out a better way to mount it.

if they are so good why not tell them to come over and hawk their own product and buy a star to do it?

Not "hawking" their product. Want an opinion on if it is any good or not and ideas on how to mount it from somebody that might have one. I don't know much about LED lighting, so I'm looking for advice from the forum members. Isn't that what forums are for? I thought it looked like a good product so I shared the link for somebody in the same boat as me.

Their site says it works with Vision X cage mounts, so it might be modeled after the Vision X. ...not sure

Edit: I just checked out the vision x site and it does look pretty similar

Probably the main reason they don't try to get on here is because Alba Racing's main focal point is ATV's/MX. They make all different types of parts for that market. I would imagine the light mounted on that Jeep was originally intended for a SxS and then someone got the idea that it could possibly work with a Jeep or other full-size ORV.

Not saying it's a bad product by any means. But Alba's main market isn't Jeeps.

Choose your friends & choose your enemies. But choose wisely.

I have thought about mounting one on the hood using either the bumper holes or hood hinge holes.

That, is mis-understood. Why would VisionX make a product for another company that turns around and sells it for 40% less??

The Alba light, just like phantom, black night, and the others that Look just like the VisionX are actually counterfeits made by a chinese company that has "Knocked them off". These companies are in a lot of legal hot water for patent infringement. If you buy one of those lights, be warned, the company won't be able stand behind their product for very long.

My mistake. I was thinking that they sold them at a higher price than VisionX, hence making them the "other" company; ie "OMIX-ADA = Rugged Ridge".
