Rear driveshaft dust shields suck

Yeah- mine is doing the "zzzzzzzzzzing!" noise (yes, that's what it says, damnit! ). What have you all done to get rid of the noise?

Also, I technically have the lifetime powertrain coverage- do you think I stand a shot at getting CDJ to replace that bastard under warranty? Mark W.

Back in a '94 YJ! Well, after I sink $$$$ into it...

Nope it is not part of the powertrain, look to see if some of those cheesy retainer nuts fell off somewhere.

Bend it real good with a screw driver if you can to get it to hold in one spot. I did this to a guys that I know and after a few months no more noise. We tried silicone to take up the space but that was useless.
