New seats installed harness ?

Got my new seats installed
Mastercraft baja rs
Wow the quality is amazing, way more comfortable then my corbeau cr1's
Goal is to but the corbeaus in the rear, working on modifying the mastercraft rear bracket so they will fit
Anyway My question is with the rock hard harness bar how are you guys securing the shoulder straps? To each other?

I bought the master raft harnesses that were designed to be bolted in (can't tell from the pics what yours are). All I did was drill two 1/2" (if I remember correctly) holes and bolted them in and cut off the little loop holder bracket thingamajig..

In case anyone cares those are master craft seats on corbeau brackets... So if you decide to upgrade to mc seats you just have to drill 2 holes and they'll work!

The corbeau seats on mc brackets however.... That takes a little more... "engineering". Lol

I attached mine to the seat bracket bolts. Not ideal, but the angles were within 2-4 degrees of ideal, as according to some racing sheets I have Mark W.

Back in a '94 YJ! Well, after I sink $$$$ into it...

I've got a Rock Hard harness bar, Crow Harnesses, and unfortunately... the oem seats still. I want the ones you got. Oh well, one of these days.

Anyway, I ordered my Crow Harnesses with the wrap around mounting option. Similar to what you see here:

Different harnesses have different mounting options. If you're not sure about how to mount them you might want to contact whomever sold them to you to verify what you have and what is the correct mounting method. Installing them wrong could be a bad thing.

Nick,

Which harnesses did you get?

There are some designed to wrap around the bar and some that need to be bolted into the bar. The easier of the two is the wrap around, the bolt in requires some modification.

My 3" Crows came with both, the wrap-around, as well as the bolt in tabs.
I chose to use the wrap-around style.

I have these. I really don't need the "Submarine" belt.
Great belt for the price, plus the aircraft bluckle is much easier to deal with. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RCI-9450D/

I almost bought those but I do wish I wouldve sometimes. I catch hell with sand in my latches making them impossible to operate without keeping a bottle of water around.

I did the wrap around for the harness bar and bolt in for the lap belt. Just took some uni strut and bolted them in to the seat mounting bolts.
