2011 JK Programmer

Are there any programmer offerings for the 2011 JK yet? Talked to Hypertech yesterday and apprently they haven't relased anything just yet. Trying to see if there's anything out there for my rig since I'm close to pulling the trigger on the lift and 35's.

Kinda puts a damper on a lift and tires, though. Guess I'll have to live with shitty gas mileage and worse acceleration. Well....no more days at the drag strip!

Part# 752001 Speedo calibrator will work on all 2007-2011 JK's. The tuning portion is currently in longevity testing. You can't rush testing
I can't wait to show off our Black Ops with LCG Teraflex long arm

Request submitted. I know the calibrator will work for correcting the speedo readings and such, but I'm looking to get back some of the performance the bigger tires will rob. As we all know with the JK, there's very little power to sacrifice anyway, so trying to regain it is almost a top priority.

With the lack of a programmer for 2011's, what are you guys doing about the TPMS and speedo's?

There are calibrators that work, such as the one currently offered by Hypertech, as well as the AEV ProCal. Those will at least allow for speedo correction, but nothing more.

As for the TPMS....if I could rip that crap out, trust me, I would. One thing I loved about my VW. I could disable the entire TPMS system via a Micro-CAN cable and software. That among other cool stuff I could do to that car.

Not to hijack your thread anymore but....

What will happen if I didn't install the TPMS in the wheels? Just a light or will it buzz, chime or make some other kind of alarm?

Usually just that annoying-ass light.

And no worries about the hi-jack. Seems like us 2011's are SOL at the moment.

It's not due to the lack of effort; the delay in offerings are a direct result of the additional security encryption added by Chrysler for 2011 that is causing the hold up. We are working diligently to solve this issue but have some road blocks still to cross.

I realize this is an older thread, but are you any closer or are the 2011 owners?

I'm not going to hold my breath. Fact of the matter is they don't know when they're going to have one available because they can't seem to crack the security encryption. So at the moment...us 2011 owners are SOL.

I am hearing down the grape vine that we may have tuning by November but don't hold me to that until I can get confirmation.

Sounds like Jeep did a great job on the encryption. I guess they should be proud, they have kept the aftermarket at bay for about a year now...

We've heard these stories before, not holding my breath. I also heard Bully Dog is very close to a '11 tuner, I have a SC but I will go with the first out.

That's why I am keeping it general for the time being. I don't want to set a date we can't deliver to.

At this point I'm hoping one is out before I go 35s early next year. Jeez... Not rushing the guys trying to crack it, but WTH is Jeep losing by locking this thing down so tight? It's not like they are heavily into the mods arena or have their own 'programmer'. Heck, I'd think they'd love for folks to reprogram so they can try to void more warranty claims.
