Really depends on what you are buying.

Genright makes one that is compatible with stock and carolina truggies also is making one for the jk.

After that your guess is as good as mine. Talk directly to the site vendors and other mfgs to get a better idea of what is avail.

Do you have any pics of this. Im wanting to do the same thing, dosent seem like it would be too hard. What pump and sending unit are you using? Do you still have to use the EVAP canister?
Sorry for the thread jack.

Sorry for the thread jack.
We are making a skid plate to make it easy but if you what to do it on the cheap.
The TJ gas tanks from 1997-2000 will work but you will need to do a little work with the evap and you will need to use a 2005-2006 fuel pump, for the right fuel PSI.
The TJ gas tank from 2001-2004 will also work, the evap system is even closer to the JK but some mods will have to be done, you will also need to use the 2005-2006 fuel pump.
The best tank to use is the 2005-2006 all of the evap stuff is the same and the fuel pump has the right PSI.
All you need to do is modify the front mounting brackets and relocate the rear body mounts and it will work.
You could put the tank in for the price of a good used fuel tank. ($100.00)
We are going to have more of this coming up, with pics and info.
