ok, im finally going to get this thing on my jeep. Its been sitting around long enough. How hard is this to put on? It seems fairly simple? Take old off , put new on? Or are there things i should look out for or know?

Thats it. Double check steering lock-to-lock to make sure you're not overextending or bottoming it out.

Its as easy as you just described. Only thing that I would add is to mount it reservoir down so the fluid isn't sitting against the seal by the piston.

ok i installed this with i think no problem today. One question, the instructions say to turn the "thingy" that you install the SS to down? i did this at first but it just didnt seem right, the SS seemed not lined up right. So, i put it half way and it dosent hit on anything....i drove it and it feels great! so should of done this a long time ago!

That looks right. I would recommend getting the flip kit for it if you take it off-road. It is in a bad location on the bottom and is likely to be smashed. The flip kit is easy and moves it up and out of the way. I have the JeepSwag.com but there are others.
