Tough to say considering not all RTI ramps are the same.

Sir

RTI score depends on alot of things for example, shock length, tire side wall flex, bump stop heights, etc. for your 4 door. In general 4 doors are not great on the ramp, but it is a huge improvment over stock, but off-road 4 doors do awesome. They are extremely stable in just about every condition... You will have fun with it for sure.

Who cares. Go actually wheel your truck. Nobody that goes on a trail cares about an RTI score.

My point in presenting the question was to discover just how well my jeep will articulate off road once my lift and tires get here

Depends on how long your shocks are and how much you bump stop it. Any 2.5-3" lift that uses the stock suspension mounting locations is going to be pretty similar.

I agree, RTI scores don't necessarily mean that your rig is more or less capable than any others. But I do believe that they are useful.

RTI scores are very helpful for figuring out the effectiveness of mods made to your vehicle. If you had a 601 RTI score then added new shocks and went to a 689 RTI score, you would know without a doubt that the mod increased the flex of your rig. Ramp time also gives you the opportunity to inspect your suspension to find your limiting factors and adjust bump stops. Another great use of RTI is balancing suspension front to rear, as a balanced rig will have pretty close RTI going forward and backward up the ramp.

It is just one part of the big picture (other parts are approach angle, departure angle, break-over angle, crawl ratio, driver skill, etc). The other aspects of it, comparing scores for bragging rights (converting everything to standard 20* numbers), is what seems to rub people wrong and offend the "purists". Its the bone-heads that pull their shocks out to show off their flex that make me laugh.

I say good for you for getting your RTI score on that ramp. Then next time you make a mod or adjustment, you can measure the effect.
