New Bumper and Sliders

Well, it only took 3 months on the rails and a month or two on the bumper, but they are finally done. I now have a great appreciation for those people out there that do this for a living and can see why this stuff is so expensive.
The finish on them is Dupli-Color Bed Liner, a combination of spray and roll on application. I think the sliders are very stout and will hold up nicely. And now the pics....

NICE job! One of these days I am going to break down and buy a MIG welder and plasma cutter so I can start building my own parts.

Plasma isn't neccessary. Ox-Acetalyen torch and or a 4.5" cut off disk is all you really need. The cut off disk makes the cleanest and most accurate cuts IMHO. A MIG welder is NICE though, thats what i used, but a stik welder is good enough also.

Looks Great! I like that way it's like cut off by the wheels, makes it look mean

Now to make a back bumper like that

The rear bumper is gonna be a hybrid of the new teraflex and a PJ, with my own little "twist" on the carrier.
