CV Joint replacement kit

Well, i have been having some weird noises coming from under my jeep for a while... today i finally had time to get under there and inspect, and i found my cv joint has died. i removed the front drive shaft, and the cv joint came completely dry, not a drop of grease anywhere. and, it has a lot of play, and it gets stuck in some positions. So now i need to replace it.

I see there is a Crown Automotive replacement, which i believe is basically stock parts:

However, my jeep is lifted 2.5" with a Rock Krawler lift kit, so, i am not sure if i need the Rzeppa high angle replacement kit, which Teraflex reccomends for 3" lift or higher.

When i removed the drive shaft i noticed it has been rubbing in a skid plate, but i believe this could be due to the cv joint going bad, allowing the shaft more down movement than supposed. What do you think?
