Lift question

Just wondering exactly where it is the drive shaft is put too far out of sorts with a 2door lift kit?

I have a teraflex 2.5 inch lift, then I added a smitybilt bumper and winch so I put in 2x 1" coil spacers in the front. I will measure the respective wheel well heights in a but, does anyone know the angle of the front DS or the front lift height that will be bad for the ds and pinion angle etc?

You're definitely closing in on that critical angle, especially with a 2-door. Rear DS angles are way less forgiving than on a 4-door. Check for the front shaft contacting the exhaust at full droop and look at the rear for excess angle. I would be looking at new DC 1310 shafts front and rear pretty soon. Don't forget you need at least adjustable rear upper CAs if you decide to install a DC rear DS.

Damn. I ASSumed the weight would put me pretty much level but I can see an obvious rake. Maybe I'll try it with the spacers removed. Pitas good to know about the DC rear requiring adjustable cas

I would mentally masturbate about caster before front pinion angle.

Your front DS should be fine, but the biggest problem with it tends to be the rzeppa boot. It will probably develop a tear and start slinging grease on your tunnel and surrounding parts; but it will take a while. My boot gave it up after ~35,000 miles running on ~4.25" of lift up front.
