Looking for some additional opinions on these gear patterns. Thoughts?

Hard to tell in the pics , but the pinion doesnt look deep enough. Post a pic of the yellowing a couple of teeth past where you applied it.

Sorry, no other pics and I already removed the marking compound. I appreciate the feedback on the pinion depth though. I slowly backed out from a way to deep pinion and ended up here. It's possible that I overshot...

Looks pretty good to me. You don't always get that perfect oval shape that an ideal gear pattern picture has. You're pretty well centered heel-to-tow and top-to-root, there's not much more you can do as long as backlash is good. Based on the drive side picture you could maybe stand to decrease the pinion shim by a very tiny amount to get that lower edge less crisp but you're pretty much there to my eye. When I recently setup my gears the front looked like that and I asked around and everyone I asked said it looked as-good-as-can-be given the gears. Many people did say with big edges like that on the top and root they're very likely to be loud. Basically those gears just weren't machined to perfection.

I've only done this once and read about it online, so any true expert opinion would overtake my thoughts!
