Core 44 build questions

First off this is my first post so HI!

Now diving right in...

I am building up a core44 (rear) housing for my 14...and finding any info on building these up is well nil! I know almost everyone buys assembled units but I am not one of those guys! I prefer to build it myself...

Internals will be an ARB air locker (rd157), G2 pacer 35 splines, and Yukon 4.88 rin/pinion. Now I picked up the G2 master install for the ARB...which of course came with the 3/8" ring gear bolts that are useless. Need 7/16 (with sleeves) or 1/2" for the ARB/ring. And picked up a set of carrier bearings (this is a fresh build so no stock parts). The carrier bearings dont fit the casing? I ordered 68003555AA bearings. Am I missing something? Even the setup bearings are a different size than the 6800's?

I tried the search in MANY different wordings and still nothing...

So the 6800's bearing fit the ARB but not the housing. And the setup bearings are to small for the ARB 🤔 YT SB-D44 (setup bearing part number)

I could care less about the setup bearings with the core44 due to the spanners but the carrier bearings themselves dont seem to fit the housing...

Man... this thread climaxed quickly

Hope you get it sorted out shortly and recover from the ball bashing of waiting, working, and finding out it’s all for not

Yes, there are to Housings. The SAE is like the Non Rubi Rear D44 and the Metric is the Rubi D44 rear. In factory JK world both take the same R&P, both have the same pinion bearings, but both have their unique carriers and carrier bearings. ie a Rubi carrier will not work in a non Rubi housing.
