Infinity subwoofer bracket replacement.

Hi all.
I wanted to replace the rusty subwoofer bracket with this aftermarket replacement that I got off eBay. Problem was that the stud holding the bracket down was rusted in place. By the time I got it loose the stud was loose in the body and needed to be replaced. I was surprised to see a hex shaped hole in the body for the stud to press into and hoped I might be able to get one from the dealer but no luck. I came up with this little mod and though you it might be useful. BMW uses this plastic body nut (part #16131176747, ~$0.50) that fits perfectly in the hex hole in he body. I drilled it qout to accept a m6 metric stud and put a slice in it so that it would become and expanding rivit when i threaded in the m6 stud. I got the stud and some pan head screws from the local marina where I could get them in stainless. The pics probably explain it best.
Happy wheeling.
