My JK Poison Spyder Overhaul - Phase 1

First things fist ...many thanks to JKO vendor River City Offroad!!!! Awesome responsiveness and customer service. You were a pleasure to work with and have a new loyal client. I'm looking forward to working with you on Phase 2 and 3 ...and probably 4.

Now ...on to the foreplay. Here's what the big brown truck brought today:

After washing with dish soap and water, drying, rubbing down with mineral spirits, and sanding ...here's where I left off today:

I started with some Rustoleum flat black, but had a rattle can nozzle go bad on me (I guess) ...so I'll be doing some sanding, re-priming, and painting tomorrow morning. Check back for more Jeep porn tomorrow!!

I used straight simple green and red scotch brite pads to clean and begin the scoffing of the body armor and rocker knockers I just painted...

I'm excited to see it put together myself! I have a feeling that e-jeep is going to have one gnarly ride before he's done!

If anyone is looking for PSC gear shoot me a PM. I've got some killer prices for my friends here at JKO.
