Have yall ever seen these winches?

These popped up in my feed and shit these are one nice piece of kit. FU pricey but jezus.... I figure these are only seen on some crazy racing rigs on the other side of the pond. Twin motor, billet housings, air actuated brake, drum on bearings, can line out super fast because of no rotational resistance, crazy line speed, and powerful.

Looks similar in design to the older warn series that is upright. Others upgrade that as well. Seems like a decent idea, but would likely have a difficult time getting parts for. Also, using air in addition to electricity in the design is a bit overly complicated and likely more prone to failure. Who knows. For competition only, likely ok.

If I were going to spend even half that much money, I'd go for a real nice hydraulic pump and hydraulic winch as that can pull you all day continuously, whereas this is still restricted by an electrical system which won't be pulling you constantly unless you had multiple alternators and probably 4+ batteries.

lotsa Scottish and European overlanding rigs and owners use those. Extremely expensive and basically custom , aluminum billeted superwinches, yeah, seen them but not something I need on my jeep. Impressive British indestructive quality , for sure.

Until you roll your vehicle or stall in water and you're the only one that can help out. Kind of hard to run hydraulics with engine off.

3 grand for a 10k winch, no thanks. I'm assuming that 10k is on the first layer, couldn't find anything on what the pull is for the other layers on the elect winch. The fact that they don't list it gives me pause.

The hyd winch is 8k on the 4th layer with two motors, 3k on the 4th layer with one motor. 10k and 5k for the first layers.

They do look bitchen.

I'm starting to think the folks over the pond really know how to get themselves stuck.

Now I know what it feels like to be Canadian. I don't like it.
