Wednesday modding and finally finishing up a winter mod

I got a Hurst T-handle shift knob, and after pulling off the stock knob, which everybody else knows is jsut a press on, i thought how the hell would i get this new knob to thread on!? So i drank some beers and came up with the idea of this "adapter". Machined a piece of steel, bored it out for a .002" press fit then threaded the other end to fit the handle, even drilled and tapped a hole for a set screw. and the last pic is of the grille mesh i finally found to put on after i had painted the headlight bezels and grill slats, of which i realized i have not posted pics from the weekend i painted that stuff and the hinges and windsheild wiper bowls. I will have to do that sometime.
