Moved my spare tire

Nothing fancy as my welding skills are non existent but hereís the start of my spare tire relocation. Need to build a drawer mount with a spindle so I can actually secure it in the Jeep.

What size tire? Will it be a full pull out tray for other storage and soft stuff?
ETA: Purpose for hacking the inside of the tailgate?

How I did mine inside.

So I could do this.

37x12.50x17 I cut way too much out of the tailgate but had to cut for the tire.

The drawer idea Iím thinking of is for the tire itself so I can lock/secure the tire down as of right now the tailgate and frame work of my shelf are all that secure it. Iím also going to add some rated quart crates in the void spaces
