RR Skids on the way

Ok...This is absolutely the last mod to be purchased this year save repair/replacement! I'm going to Superlift ORV in Arkansas next month, and well...the stock skids just don't cut it for wheeling honestly. They're ok, I suppose, but the second you get into scary situations you're wondering if you're bashing your oil pan, or the rocks are poking through all the nice vulnerable areas Jeep so kindly left open. So, since at the very least I needed the oil pan skid, and that would've been $330 shipped. I figured for a measly $470 more, I might as well go and replace the garbage Jeep gave me as my gas tank skid has a nice dent that's consuming valuable and precious fuel and was bound to acquire more dents at Superlift ORV, the oil pan and trans were completely open, and with the transfer case skid, I'm not sure who engineered its smooth lines, but gracefully sliding over rocks does not come to mind when using it for contact.

I'm truly broke now, and I'm going to pray the $$$ gods are good to me in these next coming months. At least I can have a little confidence when hearing the scrapes and bruises the underbelly's taking with this skid system. My luck will have me having no probs underside and instead finding my taillight housing busted by the end of the trip. Guess that would be the excuse to finally order up a set of rear corners with LEDs. Now accepting donations to help fund the build. Shouldn't be long until I'm on the street and living in this Jeep of mine.

2010 Jeep Wrangler 2dr Rubicon with a part from everyone...
