Pulleys: PSC Steering with Edelbrock SC

Anyone running the Edelbrock SC kit along with the PSC power steering pump? I see that the pump comes with a replacement idler pulley and my concern is that this will throw off the belt length. I believe both idlers were replaced with different sizes when I installed the supercharger.

I don't want to be underdriving, nor overdriving, my supercharger and losing boost or killing bearings.

I once had a supercharger and a York on my jk. I had to measure the length that I needed and do some research on belt lengths. eventually I found one that was a hair too short so I replaced the idler pulley with one that was slightly smaller and it all fit well.
I would guess you'll have to do similar things.

You lost me. As long as the blower pulley and the crank pulley stay the same size as they are now, belt length and various idler pulleys wont have any effect on how fast your blower is spinning
tapcola likes this.

This is what I was trying to figure out. The idler itself won't change the rotation speed, but I thought that the pump pulley would, no? This is one area where I'm not completely clear how things are affected.

Nope it wont have any effect. Only thing that will change blower speed is crank pulley diameter change or blower pulley diameter change.
